PTFE flat sealing tapes
The PTFE flat sealing tapes at SEALWARE® are manufactured without the addition of fillers. They provide a highly flexible solution for sealing flange connections in the chemical industry and plant engineering. Through a special stretching process, the sealing tapes acquire a multidirectional fiber structure, offering exceptional adaptability—ideal for uneven or damaged sealing surfaces. The flat sealing tapes are supplied by the meter on rolls, allowing for quick on-site production of custom gaskets without any material waste.
Technical Features of PTFE Flat Sealing Tapes from SEALWARE®
- Nearly universal chemical resistance against almost all acids and alkalis
- Wide temperature range from –240°C to 270°C
- Compliant with BAM, DVGW, and FDA standards
- Excellent aging resistance and UV stability of the base material
PTFE is the ideal material for use in the pharmaceutical and food industries. It does not release any colorants or fillers into the medium. Thanks to the soft consistency of the expanded material, any unevenness in the flange can be compensated even with low tightening forces, reducing the mechanical stress on the flange connections.
